This the most wierd multiplication methos i have ever seen. But Seeing this video, i remember my school days where my Physics teacher used to tell us - ” Mathematics is nothing but advanced ways of counting ” So people who are averse to actually remember tables, weak in quick referencing digits ( like you look at 225 and know it 15×15 ) this method is quite easy to actually help them multiply by counting.

I am just wondering whats the actual algo behind calculating the multiples. Can anyone crack it for me ? Seems like i am getting dull !
